Lots of Bots

This is the cutest stamp set!!  It's so good to see some really gorgeous 'boy' stamps in this Mini Catalogue.  There is such a cute story about these stamps.  Mr Henry (6) decided that he wanted this stamp set and Fox & Friends.  Every day he checked if the postie brought the parcel and when it turned up he had to make sure I put his name on them instead of mine.  He loves helping me stamp.......however I usually spend more time cleaning his stamps!!

This is such an easy card to make quickly for boys.  I have just used Warm white for the card, stamped the nuts and bolts onto Night of Navy with Black ink, run some basic grey through the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder in the Big Shot.  I have stamped the Robot in Black onto Bashful Blue and just coloured a couple of bits with the markers (with an envelope to match of course!) and finished one off with the corner rounder (to give a bit of a 'Retro' look) and the other with silver brads.

Our new addition to the Family...........

This is our newest addition to our family, Alvin.  Isn't he cute..........went to buy cat food, came home with 'Alvin'!!  He is so adoreable!!!  My family bred rabbits when I was a child and we showed them (a bit strange I know, but fun none the less!!)  Anyway, the kids have always checked out the rabbits at our local pet store and today this one spoke to us and we couldn't leave him behind!  So I'm sure there'll be some scrapbooking coming!!!!! 

Fox & Friends....

This is a gorgeous yet simple card, quick and easy for kids.  I have used Basic Grey Cardstock, the Scallop Border Punch with Olive Green, Night of Navy 1/4" ribbon and Urban Garden DSP.  Then I have punched the Curly Label Punch through the front of the card, punched again in Whisper White and stamped the cute owl in Baja Breeze and finished with 2 rhinestone brads.  I then stuck it through the hole in the front cover onto the inside of the card so it lines up.

This idea is so versatile, you can use any DSP and any stamp to adjust it for any occasion.  Why not give it a try???

I became a demonstrator 14 months ago and I absolutely LOVE it!!!  The products are fantastic, so hard wearing, and easy to use!!  Not to mention the wonderful Catalogues put out by the Company which make creating masterpieces fool-proof!! 

I never made cards until I joined Stampin' Up! I was merely a Scrapbooker.  I never saw the sense in making cards........but now I'm totally hooked!!!  And so are my friends!

Priceless...

This is one of my favourite stamp sets and one of the first I ever bought, "Priceless".  This card is another simple one but I made it a bit different by using this 'citrus' combination of colours.  I have used Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss, Real Red and Old Olive.  I have got the two-toned flowers by stamping it twice before re-inking the stamp and the swirl on the Kiwi Kiss with Versamark.  I have used the Scallop Border and Scallop Circle and two of the circle punches. 

Why not pull out some of your favourite stamp sets and try a different colour comination?  You might just be surprised what you come up with!!!  Also, Kiwi Kiss will be retiring at the end of the Catalogue (end of August) which is coming around awefully quickly so make sure you stock up as once it has sold out, that's it :( so be quick!!

Tweet Dreams.........

The Autumn Mini is absolutely gorgeous!!!!  The new "Big Shot" is FANTASTIC!!!!  There is so much you can do with these wonderful Dies, the Top Note, Scallop Circle and Lots of Tags.  These cards were so quick and easy, it only took a few minutes to whip up each of these with the help of the Big Shot.

On both cards on the Choc Chip I have used the En Francais background with Versamark (this is the easiest way to make your own 'custom' papers).  Then the first card (left) I punched the bird and Scallop Oval out of  Raspberry Tart DSP.  I have stamped 'adorable' from Warm Words stamp set in Rose Red.  I have assebled these and used Dimensionals for the saying and the wing on the bird.

The second card (right) was made by cutting a piece of A4 cardstock the width of the Scallop Die, then fold in half and cut with the Big Shot and Scallop Die with the fold just inside the Scallop Circle so you can open the card.  Then I have just stamped a scrap of Pink Pirrouette Cardstock with the cute flower 'spray' out of Vintage Vogue (Autumn Mini) and punched it with the 'Extra-Large Two-Step Bird'.  I have finished it with a tag cut from the 'Lots of Tags Dies' and a little saying from the wonderful 'Picture This' hostess set from the Autumn Mini.
